Yemeni militants seize US drone base, claim to oust president
Yemeni rebels on Wednesday captured an airbase long used by US military and intelligence officials as a launching point for drone strikes throughout the country. Houthi militants have made massive gains against the American backed government in recent months, and have now also reportedly forced the president to flee his palace, further endangering the US anti-Al Qaeda campaign.
