Demonstration of an homemade pure sine wave inverter with variable frequency.
400 pulses are used every time for rebuild one sinusoïde period of low frequency.
This montage uses a microcontroller to provide a pwm signal with a variable duty cycle.
The differents duty cycle used are calculated from the equation of a sinusoïdal signal.
A full bridge with specifics mosfets drivers are employed to go from the PWM signal to the "power".
A synchronous buck converter is used previous the inverter stage to provides the DC BUS voltage. The DC BUS has a variable value according of the output frequency of the inverter to ensure the working of constant V/f.
After filtering of the output voltage with a low pass filter we get a sinusoïdal voltage.
The filtering is easy because we have a 400 factor between the utile frequency (16 to 60 Hz) and the switching of mosfets in the full bridge."
