PLC monitoring with Android

  Dear Sir,I read what you wrote about supervising a plc via android,so could you send me java code source and explain me how you do the plc communication with android device,I mean is there any extra module that can be connected to the plc to make connexion wirelessly (as repeater for example)

  Hi Oussema,for communication between PLC and Android devices,you must use Snap7 Moka library.That's via TCP/IP.You just need a hotspot for wireless communication.I don't have source code but you can find it on project website.

  I appreciate your effort ,I find snap7moka7 library and I start developping my android api.
  I ll be verry greatful for anwsering my last question:if I connect Rj45 cable between plc siemens and a wireless device then I connect my android tablet to the wireless device(hotspot or switcher for communication),Do I need to configurate the plc or it s not necessary?

  Yes,you must configurate your PLC in TIA Portal.Both PLC and Switch must have same subnet.
